HVAC installation ( heating, ventilation, air conditioning) in a 6kV switchgear
An HVAC installation in a 6kV switchgear was designed and constructed in accordance with the client’s requirements. The system was based on mechanical supply and exhaust ventilation with air cooling. Due to the need to ensure the correct operation of the installed/located equipment inside the switchgear, it was necessary to ensure the correct temperature parameters.
Installation of temperature scanners with necessary infrastructure for two casting lines
The subject of the project was the installation of temperature scanners and the necessary infrastructure for two casting lines. For each line, two scanners were used to take measurements on three band walls. The implemented solution is based on the use of special LANDSCAN LSP-HD scanning heads designed for steel mills.
Startup of 2 Soft Starts 1562F SMC-50 at Eti Bakir Copper Electrolysis Plant Samsun, Turkey
Once again, we had the opportunity to support medium-voltage drive equipment manufacturer Rockwell Automation in the commissioning. This time, our engineer was responsible for the commissioning of two compressor systems at the copper electrolysis plant in the city of Samsun, Turkey. The order concerned the start-up of two 1562F series soft-start systems based on SMC-50 modules, powering 1600kW, 6.3kV motors.
Motorex – Construction of an automatic heating system for 31 oil tanks
The scope of work included the design and construction of a steam heating control system for 31 tanks. As designed, the control system consisted of two control islands connected to a master controller and operator panel. The entire system was designed to operate automatically. With this design, in the event of a malfunction, it is possible to manually adjust the steam flow using the valves already in place.
